Originally from Beaumont, Texas Davoy resides in New York and Paris (not Paris, Texas, but the Paris of Voltaire, Proust, Picasso,  and Jean-Marie Le Pen) striving to create work which will truly make a difference in a world that appears at times to be going absolutely haywire.
“Amazing songwriter and performer” - Lisa Grey, Producer WHYY
“Napua Davoy is one of the most extraordinary song stylists in today’s jazz world. She is a unique and beautiful performer and is destined for stardom.” - George Wein
“Napua Davoy is a hard-swinging pianist and singer with deeper roots in Miles Davis . . . with considerable chops and charm to spare.” - The Village Voice
“Singing original songs that have the shape and feel of familiar standards, she reveals a strong, sultry, sensuous voice that at times recalls the emotional expressiveness and musical spontaneity of the late Sarah Vaughan.” - San Francisco Bay Guardian
“Gutsy in the way of the best jazz singers, Davoy’s vivacity is tinged with a vulnerability. She recalls the legendary Billie Holiday. Same dark hair, exotic looks, full lips, a face lived in, but beautiful still.”  - Gabriella Coslovich, The Herald Sun, Melbourne, Australia
