With a lifetime in classical and jazz music, advanced degrees in foreign language, literature & history, Napua Davoy moves deftly through dialogue, lyrics and music creating suspenseful, moving, important and entertaining pieces for stage and film.
Since her amazing vocals premiered on her 1990 Columbia Records album she has toured the globe and explored the boundaries of jazz, opera and classical music.
Davoy won The Lila Khan Award for the Pan-Asian Repertory Theatre production of her one-woman musical STELLA RISING, which provocatively explores her struggle with her mother's Alzheimers.
Originally from Beaumont, Texas Davoy resides in New York and Paris (not Paris, Texas, but the Paris of Voltaire, Proust, Picasso,  and Jean-Marie Le Pen) striving to create work which will truly make a difference in a world that appears at times to be going absolutely haywire.
